Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse – Regional Float to join Henry Ford Staffing's flexible float pool serving Henry Ford Genesys, Grand Blanc, and surrounding units. You will provide direct patient care across multiple units, with assignments tailored to your skills and experience.

This contingent role offers scheduling flexibility, opportunities to gain diverse clinical experience, and support for work-life balance within a nationally recognized health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (required).
• 3 years of recent, related clinical nursing experience.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations and adapt to diverse clinical settings.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across units, utilizing clinical knowledge to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify potential complications or changes in patient condition before significant clinical deterioration occurs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate flexibility and clinical judgment by rapidly orienting to different units, patient populations, and care protocols within the float pool environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and clinical staff to support quality improvement initiatives and maintain safe patient care standards.
• Work assigned day and night shifts as scheduled to meet organizational staffing needs.
