Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center seeks an ECMO specialist to participate in developing and implementing tailored ECMO treatment plans. You will assess, plan, implement, and educate as part of a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with the ECMO physician to interpret and adjust the care plan for each patient.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, ECMO training or equivalent education, and specific licensure in Texas (RN, RRT, or CCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Completion of designated ECMO training program, and/or formal education in Extra Corporeal Circulation.
• Active RN license in Texas OR RRT license OR CCP license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development and execution of ECMO treatment plans.
• Communicate with ECMO physician and healthcare team to interpret, adjust and complete treatment per the ECMO patient care plan.
