Zusammenfassung

Nevada Donor Network is seeking an experienced Procurement Transplant Coordinator – RN Critical Care to provide ICU-level care for organ donors in the DCU and to coordinate organ allocation and recovery logistics.

As the primary liaison between hospital teams, NDN, and external partners, you will ensure compliant donor management under OPTN/UNOS/CMS/AOPO standards while supporting donor evaluation, education, and quality improvement initiatives.

Aufgaben

• Deliver bedside ICU care including hygiene, turning, suctioning, VAP prevention and skin integrity.
• Monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, neuro status, ventilator settings, labs and intake/output.
• Manage lines, tubes, drains and equipment (arterial/central lines, Foley, vents).
• Administer, titrate and monitor vasoactive meds, sedatives, analgesics and blood products.
• Prepare donors for surgery and coordinate transitions to the OR and recovery teams.
• Allocate organs per OPTN/UNOS policies; coordinate with transplant centers and surgeons.
• Enter and maintain data in UNet, iTransplant and other tracking systems; communicate updates.
• Ensure documentation and consents are complete; maintain compliance with policies.
