Job summary

Mid-America Transplant is seeking a Critical Care RN – Organ Procurement Coordinator in Saint Louis, MO to lead donor assessment and organ allocation efforts. The role collaborates with hospitals and transplant centers nationwide to optimize organ viability and logistics.

You will manage donor care, coordinate with UNOS policies, and work 12-hour night on-call shifts on a rotating schedule, contributing to lifesaving transplant operations.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with 2+ years ER or 1+ years ICU experience.
• Diverse ICU experience strongly preferred.
• Familiar with clinical equipment and EMR systems.
• BLS or ACLS certifications; PALS certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clinical donor management and optimization to maximize organ viability.
• Manage organ allocation per UNOS policies and coordinate with centers.
