NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, a 457-bed teaching hospital affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, seeks a qualified Registered Nurse. Qualifications

• A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Six (6) months of experience as a registered nurse.

Responsabilités

• Provides professional nursing care to patients/clients within an assigned unit under supervision.
• Diagnoses and treats responses to health problems by nursing methods and techniques.
• Serves as a team leader and assists Head Nurse in guiding nursing personnel.
• Develops, implements and evaluates the nursing regimen for assigned patients/clients.
• Maintains nursing care plans and progress notes for continuity of care.
• Interprets patient responses to health team and participates in multidisciplinary planning.
• Coordinates development and evaluation of nursing care standards and staff development.
