Job summary

One Brooklyn Health System Inc. seeks a Critical Care Registered Professional Nurse in New York to coordinate and deliver ICU/telemetry nursing care to adults 18+. You will work within the NYS Nursing Practice Act and with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requires Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), NYS RN license, and at least 2 years of critical care experience. English communication skills and BCLS are required; salary range and benefits described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years' Critical Care nursing experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to critical care/telemetry patients with medical and surgical diagnoses.
• Assess patient’s physical, social, behavioral, and mental status.
• Plan and refer to other disciplines and document same.
