Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join the ICU team. The APP will manage a caseload of critically ill patients, perform exams, order tests, and implement treatment plans under physician supervision.

Required PA or NP credentials, graduate-level education, and NC licensure. Rotating 12‑hour shifts are typical, with weekends and holidays shared among staff. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with relocation support possible.

Qualifications

• PA must be graduate of an ARC accredited Master’s Degree or Doctoral PA Program.
• NP must be graduate of an accredited MSN or DNP Acute Care NP Program.
• Unrestricted medical license issued to practice as PA or NP in NC.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services for critically ill adults with multi‑organ failure per established protocols.
• Utilize evidence-based practices under ICU supervision.
• Document findings and coordinate with the ICU team to develop treatment plans.
