Job summary

Duke University Health System is seeking a Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Durham, NC. The role focuses on management of critically ill adults in the ICU under supervision of ICU physicians, performing exams, ordering tests, and providing leadership in care delivery.

Qualifications

• PA: ARC-accredited Master’s Degree or DSc Physician Assistant Program preferred.
• NP: Accredited MSN or DNP Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program for adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services for critically ill adult patients with multi-organ trauma or multi-system disease.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests.
• Document findings and prescriptions in patient records.
