Job summary

UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join the Inpatient Critical Care team. The role offers opportunities to practice at the top of your license, help design workflows, and learn from ICU attendings with decades of experience.

The APP will care for critical care patients with MD support, perform ICU admissions and procedures, and work closely with ICU and hospitalist teammates.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Provider program (APRN or PA).
• NC licensure and BLS/ACLS certification.
• Board certification as required by the department.

Responsibilities

• Care for critical care patients alongside ICU MDs and APPs.
• Respond to rapid responses and codes as needed.
• Perform ICU admissions and critical care consults.
• Collaborate closely with ICU and hospitalist teams.
