Job summary

Duke University Health System in Durham, NC seeks a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to deliver direct care for critically ill children. You’ll work in PICU/PCICU/PPCU and participate in rapid response and code blue teams.

As an APP, you’ll collaborate with supervising physicians, contribute to education, research and leadership, and support patient-family centered care within the Duke Health System.

Qualifications

• NP: MSN or DNP pediatric acute care program completed.
• PA: ARC-accredited PA program with master's or doctoral degree preferred.
• Current RN license with NP authorization or PA license in NC.
• BLS, PALS; ACLS recommended.
• Experience in pediatric ICU setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill pediatric patients in PICU/PCICU/PPCU.
• Collaborate with supervising physician and health care team.
• Participate in Rapid Response and Code Blue teams.
• Engage in education, research, and leadership activities.
