Job summary

The Lowell General Hospital in Massachusetts is seeking a Community RN to support the four-level Career Direct Care Pathway in a complex care setting on the Main Campus ICU-G. This role provides direct nursing care to patients and families in accordance with established policies and procedures. Location: Main Campus ICU-G.

Shift: 36 Hours, Days/Nights Rotating; Weekends and Holidays required. Massachusetts RN Licensure and BLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Department-specific certification(s) may be required.
• Experience based on level I-IV.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Integrates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Performs accurate clinical assessments and documents findings.
• Develops and evaluates patient care plans.
• Uses nursing judgment to tailor care to patient needs.
• Manages patient assignments and collaborates with the team.
• Develops discharge plans and educates patient and family.
