Job summary

Lowell General Hospital's Community RN Career Direct Care Pathway places RNs into four levels based on experience and qualifications. The RN provides direct patient care on the ICU-1 Main Campus, following physician orders and established policies.

The role requires Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS, and department-specific certifications; BSN preferred. The pay range and advancement opportunities are designed to support skilled nursing practice and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• Current BLS Certification is required.
• Department specific certifications may be required.
• Experience level varies by RN level I–IV.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Evaluates and integrates evidence-based practice into care.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates the plan of care.
• Uses nursing judgment to individualize the plan of care.
• Manages patient assignment and supports team members.
