Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead patient-centered care on the unit during the shift. You will direct nursing care, mentor staff, and collaborate with management to maintain high quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient admissions/discharges, quality assessment, staff scheduling, training, and inventory control, all within established policies.

Qualifications

• RN - Registered Nurse licensed
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date
• Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree
• Three years RN experience, critical care experience required

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions and discharges to ensure throughput and patient-centered care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care in the unit.
• Collaborate with managers to create teamwork that improves outcomes and service.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement, including hourly rounds.
• Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, training staff and evaluations.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor according to productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.
