Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required per American Heart Association guidelines.
• BLS certification required per American Heart Association guidelines.
• RN licensure as a Registered Nurse with Ohio Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs Clinical Operation/Supervisory duties to ensure quality, services, and satisfaction; coordinates interdisciplinary team for optimal patient flow and outcomes.
• Participates in recruitment activities and staff development; provides formal/informal feedback and supervision; ensures orientation and ongoing education.
• Serves on unit/hospital committees to improve practice and outcomes; performs departmental audits; provides real-time coaching to staff on patient and family needs.
• Assists the direct manager with budget needs and cost-effective practice; contributes to safe, high-reliability operations and efficient use of department resources.
