Qualifications

• Master's degree or BSN with enrollment in a Master's program.
• 2 years of progressive nursing experience in designated specialty; 3 months as preceptor.
• Active RN licensure in Virginia or multi-state license; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess competency of new nursing staff using system strategies and safety goals.
• Translate theory and evidence into educational experiences for staff.
• Prepare annual self-development plans and professional goals.
