University Medical Center of El Paso seeks a Nurse Manager for the ICU on the night shift (7 PM–7 AM). You will coordinate unit operations, allocate resources, and oversee RNs and support staff to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care.

You will direct nursing care per established standards, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support ongoing performance improvement to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital based acute care setting is required.
• Current and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas is required.
• Current CPR training required.
• ACLS obtained within 6 months of being in the position.
• PALS obtained within 6 months of being in the position for Endoscopy, Emergency, Operating Room, Recovery and Ambulatory Surgical Unit.
• TNCC or ATCN obtained within 1 year of being in the position for Emergency, ICU, Medical Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU, and Recovery.
• ENPC obtained within 1 year of being in the position for the Emergency department.
• Obtainment of a national nursing certification in specialty area within 2 years of being in the position is required.

• Maintains authority for resource allocation and assists Nurse Manager/Director.
• Oversees the work of RNs and non-licensed nursing staff and collaborates with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
