Qualifications

• CA RN license required; BLS certification; ACLS within one year of hire/transfer.
• Preferred: Nationally recognized certification per specialty Core Curriculum Pathway.
• Education: BSN, MSN, or currently enrolled in RN-BSN program.
• Experience Preferred: Minimum of two years RN experience in specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Primary clinical resource for staff on assigned unit.
• Mentor for staff and role model for professional practice.
• Represents unit leadership in absence of Nurse Manager/Director.
• Provides leadership and problem-solving support for staff.
• Advises on clinical assessment and decision-making.
• Supports staff and physicians in patient care activities.
• Coordinates intake and float staff orientation and assignments.
• Ensures effective communication and collaboration across units.
