The Guthrie health system in Sayre, PA seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional, comprehensive nursing care in an acute care setting. You will deliver coordinated, safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to patients and families across the lifespan, following state Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

Requirements include active RN license in the state, BSN preferred, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on the unit.

Formación

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• BSN in Nursing preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or progress toward completion as per facility policy.
• Specialty Certification is preferred.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS is unit dependent.
• PALS is unit dependent.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patients' care; updates and coordinates the plan of care to achieve patient goals and outcomes.
• Advocates for ethical and holistic care, promoting autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of patients.
• Fosters learning for patients, families, and healthcare team; supports student education.
• Ensures safety and quality by applying evidence-based practice and data-informed improvements.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and contributes to a culture of inquiry.
• Demonstrates leadership and coordinates care with inter-professional team members.
• Participates in planning and presenting educational programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
