Job summary

Guthrie is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide professional, comprehensive care in an acute care setting. This role emphasizes coordination of care, patient Advocacy, and evidence-based nursing practice within the state’s Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, maintain required certifications, and participate in ongoing professional development and education initiatives. A sign-on bonus of up to $25,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• BSN preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or active pursuit with defined timelines per facility policy.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS as unit dependent.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; coordinates plan of care.
• Advocates for ethical, holistic care and patient autonomy.
• Fosters learning for patients, families, and staff; supports education of learners.
• Ensures safety and quality by applying evidence-based practice and data to improve outcomes.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and adheres to professional codes and standards.
• Demonstrates leadership, coordinates care, and collaborates with inter-professional team.
• Participates in planning and presenting educational programs.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
