Job summary

The Guthrie health system in Sayre, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in an acute care setting. The RN will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care while ensuring safety and adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications

Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
BSN degree preferred.
Any agreement for obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in nursing will remain in effect.
Specialty Certification is preferred.
BLS certification.
ACLS is unit dependent.
PALS is unit dependent.

Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Develop and coordinate the patient care plan to achieve goals and optimize outcomes.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition; maintain essential competencies.
Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting autonomy, dignity, rights, and beliefs.
Foster learning for patients, families, nursing staff, and students; support education.
Align safety and quality; apply evidence and best practices to care delivery.
Demonstrate leadership, delegate and collaborate as part of the care team.
Participate in planning and presenting educational programs.
