Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to provide operational and administrative support to Nurse leadership and coordinate staffing, throughput, and quality outcomes on the unit.

The ANM collaborates with the Nurse Manager to assess, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate nursing practice, ensuring patient-centered care and staff development. A BSN in progress and 3+ years of RN experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience in respective specialty.
• The ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and deliver high-quality care with teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing, throughput, quality and safety outcomes.
• Oversee staff competency, hiring, and staff actions with unit leadership.
• Support nursing leadership and act as a liaison with Nurse Manager.
• Ensure unit efficiency and patient-centered care throughout shifts.
