Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to support nursing strategic priorities and leadership. The ANM coordinates staffing, throughput, quality and safety outcomes, and staff development under Nurse leadership.
The role requires an active NJ RN license, 3+ years NICU experience, and strong communication and leadership skills. BSN in progress is preferred; AHA BLS/CPR and NRP are required. Benefits and growth opportunities are provided.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license required.
- Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required.
- BSN in progress within 3 years of hire preferred.
- AHA BLS/CPR certification required; NRP certification required.
- Minimum 3 years of NICU nursing experience; charge nurse/supervisor experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Interprets, supports, and communicates policies, standards and procedures.
- Serves as role model for staff in nursing professionalism and quality care.
- Identify cost containment measures within the department.
- On-call based on unit requirements.
- Assumes special projects as assigned by leadership.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Adheres to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
