Hackensack Meridian Health at Jersey Shore University Medical Center is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead nursing teams, coordinate staffing, and drive patient care excellence.

The ANM collaborates with Nurse Manager, ensures quality, safety, throughput, and staff development. NJ RN license required; BSN, ACLS, and BLS/CPR certifications; MSN preferred; 3+ years of nursing experience; cath lab and ED/ICU experience valued.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in New Jersey.
• BSN is required; MSN preferred.
• ACLS, BLS/CPR certifications required; AHA certification.
• 3+ years of nursing experience with leadership roles.
• Cath lab nursing experience and ED/ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, communicate, and enforce nursing policies and standards.
• Coordinate staffing, throughput, and unit operations with Nurse leadership.
• Identify cost-containment opportunities and optimal product utilization.
• Assist in on-call coverage and lead special projects.
• Support staff recognition and professional development.
• Ensure adherence to organizational competencies and behavior standards.
• Lead quality, safety, and patient care initiatives within the unit.
