Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care during the 7 p.m.–7 a.m. shift. The role emphasizes nursing process, critical thinking, and collaboration with physicians, psychologists, podiatrists, and dentists to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and BLS certification with ACLS/PALS as needed. Eligible benefits accompany eligible positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license required; BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to care and counsel individuals for health promotion and illness prevention.
• Identify patient needs and delegate, coordinate, and manage nursing care with team members.
• Deliver patient care in collaboration with patient, family, and healthcare professionals.
