Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join a collaborative ICU team, delivering critical care at the top of your license. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field and completion of a 2-year PA or NP program.
• Nurse Practitioner license or Physician Assistant license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 0–1 year related work experience.
• Strong analytical and interpretative skills to formulate diagnoses and plans.
• Proficient in EMR and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with physicians to complete pre-admission histories and exams.
• Assess, document, and monitor patient progress in the ICU.
• Perform central venous and arterial access procedures.
• Enter ICU admission orders and conduct daily rounds.
• Coordinate discharge planning and family communication.
