Job summary

Grady Health System seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the ICU care team. The APP conducts comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, orders, and prescribes in the direct management of critically ill patients, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary staff.

This role emphasizes autonomous practice within the ICU, patient- and family-centered care, quality and safety, advocacy, and leadership within the care team.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing as Advanced Practice Nurse or Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant
• Current Georgia RN license (NP) or Georgia APRN/PA certification as applicable
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management for critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with ICU physicians and multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Promote evidence-based practice, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a key member of the ICU team with leadership and advocacy responsibilities
