Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm delivering innovative engineering solutions for data centers and large-scale construction. This role focuses on physical infrastructure design, cabling, pathways, and telecom rooms, not software networking, with Revit/AutoCAD deliverables and BIM coordination.

The ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer I will design network infrastructure, SEF, OSP, and data center layouts, coordinating with civil and electrical teams to ensure scalable, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICT/structured cabling design, or network infrastructure design.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD certification preferred – not software/IT networking.
• Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design ICT and network infrastructure systems including structured cabling and pathways.
• Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams, logical network layouts, and physical infrastructure design.
• Produce construction drawings, cable routing and pathway layouts, equipment schedules, and rack elevations.
• Design passive infrastructure including fiber and copper cabling and cross-connect configurations.
