Job summary

DLR Group invites applications for an ICT Designer on the Telecommunications + Security Design team. The role focuses on designing telecommunications network cabling infrastructure from schematic to construction administration across diverse building types.

Ideal candidates will have RCDD certification, 5+ years in telecom design, proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD, and the ability to collaborate with architects and engineers while traveling to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• RCDD certification through BICSI.
• 5+ years in the Evaluation/Design of Telecommunications Cabling Infrastructure Systems.
• Experience with BIM and CAD workflows (Revit/AutoCAD).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel for meetings, site visits, and interviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop telecom cabling infrastructure designs from concept through construction.
• Prepare telecom cabling infrastructure plans and specifications.
• Prepare detailed telecom systems reports and narratives.
• Coordinate Telecom design requirements with architecture, structure, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
