Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks an ICT Designer to perform basic technical duties under supervision, developing systems designs for ICT projects and coordinating with the project team. The role includes site surveys, preparing deliverables, and supporting project management within established scopes and budgets.

Requires an accredited engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years in the field. Proficiency in CAD, Revit, and Bluebeam is expected, along with strong communication and organizational

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years related industry experience preferred.
• Experience with ICT design within Mission Critical Facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required by project timelines.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work in Stantec's proposal.
• Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting to QA/QC reviewer.
• Actively participates in the engineering/professional community to build knowledge and growth.
• Meets or exceeds utilization goals and adheres to project budget.
• Performs duties to assist or act as the project manager within timeline and budget.
