Zusammenfassung

Stantec’s buildings team in the United States is seeking a qualified ICT Designer to perform basic technical duties under supervision. You will design within your discipline, coordinate with the workgroup, and support project delivery from surveys to final punch lists.

This role requires knowledge of ICT design principles, TIA/BICSI practices, and familiarity with data center facilities. Proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam, and Revit is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of ICT design principles for backbone and horizontal cabling.
• Understanding of customer owned outside plant pathway design.
• Familiar with TIA standards and BICSI best practices.

Aufgaben

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required by project timelines.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work in Stantec's proposal.
• Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting to QA/QC reviewer.
• Actively participates in the engineering/professional community to build knowledge and growth.
• Meets or exceeds utilization goals and adheres to project budget.
• Performs duties to assist or act as the project manager and plan tasks within timeline and budget.
• Creates detailed instructions, delegates tasks, and reviews returned work for timely execution.
• Identifies and reports roadblocks that may affect scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develops understanding of Stantec’s accounting and project management systems.
