Job summary

Air Liquide Electronics in Fremont, CA is hiring an Advanced Materials Supervisor to lead the Precursor Group in ICP-MS analysis of ALD precursors within a cleanroom setting. You will coordinate with the Laboratory Manager to prioritize work and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires a B.S. in Chemistry or related field with 2+ years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with LIMS and MS Office/Google Suite.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry or related field and 2+ years experience, or equivalent education/experience
• Demonstrated understanding of analytical techniques and experimental design
• Ability to troubleshoot and apply analytical thinking regarding chemical analyses and processes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; proficient with MS Office/Google Suite and LIMS

Responsibilities

• Provide support for establishing a Safety 1st team culture
• Provide daily updates to Laboratory Manager/Sr. Lab Manager
• Prioritize team activities to meet customer requirements
• Ensure SOPs are current and properly followed
• Participate in quality/Intelex program and ensure data evaluation/verification
• Contribute to ICP-MS optimization, sample prep, and waste consolidation
• Maintain instrument fleets and procure consumables as needed
• Train staff and develop cross-training plans
• Sustain 6S program and drive continuous improvements
