Job summary

Air Liquide Fremont location seeks an Advanced Materials Supervisor to lead the ICP-MS analysis team in a fast-paced laboratory. You will oversee sample preparation, trace elemental analysis of ALD precursors, and coordination with the Lab Manager to meet safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry background and 2+ years in analytical chemistry, with strong skills in LIMS, Excel, and Google Suite. This role requires initiative, teamwork, and customer-focused data delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related field with 2+ years experience in analytical lab settings.
• Strong understanding of analytical techniques and experimental design.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and interpret chemical analyses.
• Proficient with LIMS, Excel and Google Suite; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide support establishing a Safety 1st team culture.
• Provide daily updates to Laboratory Manager/Sr. Lab Manager.
• Prioritize daily production activities to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure SOPs are current and followed; manage change requests.
• Perform ICP-MS optimization, sample prep, and waste consolidation.
