Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field including, but not limited to: sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, psychology, Registered Nurse licensure, or Doctorate of Medicine Osteopathy.
• Two years of related experience providing professional or direct services, including at least one year of experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Direct Support Professional staff and one or more residential buildings to ensure appropriate coverage and quality of daily services.
• Maintains thorough, accurate documentation of services and ensures compliance with agency policies.
• Develops DSP III leadership and supervisory skills, trains staff, and conducts annual performance evaluations.
• Maintains communication with guardians and advocates regarding significant events, health, and progress.
• Ensures safety, consistency across programs, and timely reporting of significant events or incidents.
