Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years verifiable experience with individuals receiving services, or equivalent.
• High school diploma with 5 years of related experience.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience required.
• Experience with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred.
• 1 year of QIDP experience preferred.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to operate 10-12 passenger vans and wheelchair-accessible buses.
• Strong leadership and regulatory-compliance skills.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and severe weather events.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of daily facility operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and homelike environment for clients.
• Ensure compliance with ICF/ID requirements and applicable state and federal regulations, including Medicaid/AHCA reviews.
• Promote high-quality, person-centered services and maintain appropriate client-to-staff ratios.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and develop direct reports with clear performance expectations.
• Support employee engagement, recognition, retention, and cross-department collaboration.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget, monitor expenses, and use resources effectively.
• Oversee consultants, vendors, contracts, maintenance, vehicles, and other resources.
• Lead risk management and life-safety activities and complete corrective actions.
• Respond to concerns involving abuse, neglect, or exploitation per policy and reporting requirements.
• Maintain Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and oversee hurricane preparedness.
• Participate in management meetings, required trainings, and an on-call rotation for 24-hour coverage.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community partners.
