Job summary

The City of Rosemount is seeking a Warming House Attendant to oversee rink and warming house operations during scheduled hours. You will enforce rules, assist patrons, perform light maintenance, and document issues for the Recreation Supervisor.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old, with good judgment, a positive attitude, and the ability to work flexible evenings and weekends in a winter recreation setting. First Aid training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must possess a good attitude and good judgement when dealing with the public.
• Ability to understand and follow written or oral instructions.
• Ability to perform physical duties as needed.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including late afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Enforces warming house rules, regulations and policies.
• Opens and closes the warming house when scheduled.
• Provides assistance to patrons (e.g. lacing skates, answering questions).
• Acts responsibly and provides clear direction in emergency situations.
• Performs general maintenance and cleaning of the warming house.
• Communicates with the Recreation Supervisor and Maintenance Crew.
• Reports acts of vandalism and/or equipment needing repair.
• Responds to complaints and directs corrective actions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
