Job summary

City of Champlin is seeking a Warming House Attendant for the seasonal operations of the warming house and surrounding rink area. You will perform opening and closing procedures, monitor facility use, provide customer service, and enforce safety rules.

The role requires flexibility including evenings and weekends, ability to lift light loads, and a willingness to work in winter conditions. Must be at least 16 years old; First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily opening and closing of the warming house facility, including unlocking doors, shoveling and salting sidewalks, turning lights on/off, and cleaning restrooms.
• Deliver excellent customer service to facility users.
• Understand and enforce warming house rules to ensure safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with the supervisor to maintain adequate supplies and ensure accurate attendance reports.
• Report accidents or any unusual incidents promptly and accurately.
