Job summary

Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard of Slidell LA is seeking a dependable, hardworking Italian Ice Maker to join our team. The role focuses on making Italian Ice fresh in-store, while upholding Rita’s quality, cleanliness, and food-safety standards.

Responsibilities include following Rita’s recipes, maintaining product quality, labeling and rotating products, and assisting with daily store duties. Experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Evening and weekend availability required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Properly label, store, and rotate products
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with other store duties as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Evening and weekend availability is required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Comfortable working independently
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical/repetitive tasks
• Must maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.
