Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard of Slidell LA is seeking a dependable, hardworking Italian Ice Maker to join our team. The role focuses on making Italian Ice fresh in-store, while upholding Rita’s quality, cleanliness, and food-safety standards.

Responsibilities include following Rita’s recipes, maintaining product quality, labeling and rotating products, and assisting with daily store duties. Experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Evening and weekend availability required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must maintain a clean and organized work area.

Responsabilités

• Make Italian Ice fresh according to Rita’s recipes and procedures.
• Follow recipes and measurements accurately.
• Maintain product quality and consistency.
• Maintain proper consistency of Italian Ice in dip boxes throughout the shift.
• Monitor inventory and daily production needs.
• Label, store, and rotate products.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with other store duties as needed.
