Job summary

Clementine is seeking an enthusiastic Ice Cream Scooper to create memorable guest experiences in our Parlor. You will greet guests, help with flavor selections, process sales at the POS, and keep the shop tidy and welcoming.

This part-time, hourly role offers flexibility with nights and weekends and requires strong communication, basic math, and the ability to stand for extended periods while delivering friendly, on-brand service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or food service preferred.
• Flexible work schedules including weekends, holidays, days, and evenings.
• Ability to operate POS
• Basic math skills
• Strong communication and Guest service skills
• Ability to stand, walk and lift moderate weights for extended periods
• Ability to form in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Scoop, serve and engage guests by greeting guests, answering inquiries about our flavors and offering personalized recommendations.
• Sales & Transactions: Process sales, returns, and exchanges using the POS system. Promote loyalty programs and upselling techniques.
• Store Operations: Restock shelves, arrange merchandise, set up displays, maintain cleanliness, and perform inventory tasks such as receiving shipments.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is visually appealing, organized, and well-stocked.
• Loss Prevention: Follow safe work practices and security policies to prevent theft.
• Assist with other tasks as needed

POSITION SUMMARY

Ice Cream Scoopers (Purveyor of Yum), create magical and memorable moments in Parlor for all guests. Responsible for creating a positive guest experience by greeting guests, assisting with selection of handcrafted flavors and/or curated merchandise, answering questions, processing sales, and maintaining parlors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guest Service: Scoop, serve and engage guests by greeting guests, answering inquiries about our decadent flavors and offering personalized recommendations. Provide consistent and correct scoop sizes.
• Sales & Transactions: Process sales, returns, and exchanges using the point of sale (POS) system. Promote sales, loyalty programs, and upselling techniques.
• Store Operations: Restock shelves, arrange merchandise, set up displays, maintain cleanliness, and perform inventory tasks such as receiving shipments.
