Job summary

Clementine's Ice Cream is seeking an Ice Cream Scooper to create memorable moments in our Parlor. Greet guests, help with flavor selections and merchandise, and process sales with a friendly, fast-paced service style.

Responsibilities include accurate scooping, taking payments, promoting loyalty, restocking, maintaining displays, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for every guest.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or food service preferred.
• Flexible work schedules including weekends, holidays, days, and evenings.
• Ability to operate POS systems.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments.

• Process sales, returns, and exchanges using the POS; promote loyalty programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Scoop, serve and engage guests by greeting guests, answering inquiries about our decadent flavors and offering personalized recommendations. Provide consistent and correct scoop sizes.
• Sales & Transactions: Process sales, returns, and exchanges using the point of sale (POS) system. Promote sales, loyalty programs, and upselling techniques.
• Store Operations: Restock shelves, arrange merchandise, set up displays, maintain cleanliness, and perform inventory tasks such as receiving shipments.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is visually appealing, organized, and well-stocked.
• Loss Prevention: Follow safe work practices and security policies to prevent theft.
• Assist with other tasks as needed
