Job summary

Clementines Creamery in Clayton, MO is seeking Ice Cream Scoopers to welcome guests, help with flavor choices and merchandise, and process sales with a friendly, fast-paced approach.

As a part-time role, you’ll work evenings, weekends and holidays, operate the POS, handle basic math, restock and maintain displays, and contribute to a positive guest experience through accurate scooping and upselling where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or food service preferred.
• Flexible work schedules including weekends, holidays, days and evenings.
• Ability to operate POS.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift moderate weights for extended periods.
• Ability to form in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Scoop, serve and engage guests by greeting guests, answering inquiries about our decadent flavors and offering personalized recommendations. Provide consistent and correct scoop sizes.
• Sales & Transactions: Process sales, returns, and exchanges using the POS system. Promote sales, loyalty programs, and upselling techniques.
• Store Operations: Restock shelves, arrange merchandise, set up displays, maintain cleanliness, and perform inventory tasks such as receiving shipments.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is visually appealing, organized, and well-stocked.
• Loss Prevention: Follow safe work practices and security policies to prevent theft.
• Assist with other tasks as needed

Ice Cream Scoopers (Purveyor of Yum), create magical and memorable moments in Parlor for all guests. Responsible for creating a positive guest experience by greeting guests, assisting with selection of handcrafted flavors and/or curated merchandise, answering questions, processing sales, and maintaining parlors.
