Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking a production line operator to run assigned lines, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. You will follow SOPs, maintain hygiene and coordinate with maintenance and shifts to keep output meeting specs.

Qualifications

• Requires 18+ years of age or older.
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work multiple shifts or schedules.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines on the line run to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work area with proper equipment handling.
• Understand basic ice cream production knowledge and the why, not just the how.
• Minimize water usage during cleaning and follow clean-as-you-go principles.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and next shift to hand over faults and issues.
• Drive production to meet customer specifications, quality and food safety.
