Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. is seeking a production line operator to run assigned lines with a strong focus on quality, safety, and waste reduction. You will follow SOPs, monitor machinery, and ensure outputs meet customer specifications.

You should understand the why behind processes, maintain hygiene, report faults, and work with maintenance and shift teams in a fast-paced environment that values safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent math and problem-solving abilities.
• Good interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work multiple shifts.
• High School diploma or GED.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned lines and machines.
• Follow standard operating procedures in areas assigned.
• Understand the why behind processes, not just the how.
• Minimize water use during cleaning and follow clean-as-you-go.
• Set up and use of all equipment correctly.
• Handoffs with maintenance and next shift; report faults.
• Ensure production meets customer specifications, quality and food safety.
• Control manufacturing process to meet targets.
• Communicate effectively with the team.
• Maintain health and safety and a positive safety culture.
• Lead by example and address issues promptly.
• Promote Froneri ownership culture.
• Follow the principle of 'would I do this to my home?'
• Other duties as assigned.
