Job summary

Facility Management Corporation, known as FMC Ice Sports, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee programs, services, and maintenance at multiple Massachusetts arenas. The role requires flexible hours including nights and weekends to serve patrons.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' work experience in an ice arena with some level of responsibility to operations and maintenance.
• Self-starter able to analyze situations and develop solutions with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse groups and interests.
• Ability to generate ideas for increasing sales and controlling costs.
• Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time.
• Flexibility to work varying hours as seasons and service needs change.
• Experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds.
• Valid Driver's License and compliance with safety regs for ice resurfacer/edger.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations including supervising and supporting all facility programs and services.
• Manage routine maintenance and janitorial tasks while the facility is open to the public.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and shift coverage across Marlboro, Franklin, and Hopedale sites.
• Work solo or with others as required by the activity schedule.
• Schedule may include nights, weekends and some holidays to meet patron needs.
