Job summary

FMC Ice Sports is seeking a Facility Operator to maintain clean, safe, and healthy arenas and to operate ice resurfacer as needed. The role reports to the Arena Manager and may require working nights, weekends, and some holidays to meet patron needs.

No prior ice rink experience is required as training is provided, with a training rate and potential discretionary bonus discussed during offer.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter who can analyze situations and develop solutions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a variety of individuals and groups.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time.
• Flexibility to work varying hours as seasons and service needs change.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure facility.
• Make and maintain ice surface and maintain arena facilities.
• Ensure facilities are cleaned on a regular basis.
• Demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service for both internal and external customers.
