The Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Medical Records Coder to review and abstract patient data, assign ICD codes, and support accurate billing and cash flow. You will interpret physician plans, ensure data integrity, and stay current with ICD guideline updates in daily work.

Requirements include a High School/GED, at least 1 year in hospital coding, and CCS or CIC certification. Preferred is an Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field.

• High School / GED required.
• 1 year in hospital coding.
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) OR CIC.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Understanding of computer applications.
• Ability to work with health care team.
• Preferred: Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field.
