Job summary

Kleinfielder's Construction Services team in California is seeking a Special Inspector to perform inspection and testing of construction materials in the field and in the lab. You will verify conformance to plans and specifications, prepare daily reports, and interact with owner and contractor teams on active projects.

Qualified candidates hold required certifications (ACI, ICC) and a high school diploma, with willingness to travel across the Bay Area and work with MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum certifications include within 60 days for the role.
• Education required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and have own vehicle with valid license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction materials in the field to verify conformance to plans and specs.
• Perform routine laboratory tests on soils and concrete, including compaction curves and concrete compressive strength tests.
• Interact daily with owner and contractor teams, prepare daily reports and data sheets.
• Travel throughout the Bay Area of California as needed.
