Job summary

Kleinfelder's Central and Northern California offices are seeking a Special Inspector to join our growing Bay Area team. This role involves performing inspection and testing of construction materials in the field, ensuring conformity to plans and specifications, and documenting daily reports.

You'll interact with owner and contractor teams, travel throughout the Bay Area, and hold required certifications. A high school diploma and driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Bay Area of California.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction materials in the field and in the laboratory to verify conformance to plans and specifications.
• Prepare daily reports and data sheets documenting inspection results and materials tests.
• Interact daily with owner and contractor teams to support project goals and ensure quality controls.
