Job summary

Kleinfelder, Inc. is seeking a Special Inspector to join our Central and Northern California team. You will perform inspection and testing of construction materials, interact daily with owner and contractor teams, and prepare daily reports to support project goals.

The role requires field work, travel across the Bay Area, and the ability to obtain required certifications within 60 days. A high school diploma, vehicle, and MS Office proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain within 60 days: ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I
• ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
• ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver's license
• Willing to travel throughout the Bay Area

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction materials.
• Inspect active work projects and prepare daily reports.
• Conduct routine laboratory tests on soils and concrete (compaction curves and compressive strength).
• Use MS Office to manage data and reporting
