Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an IC&E Technician to maintain and repair electrical, instrumentation, and control systems within a power plant environment in Cranberry Township, PA. You will monitor DCS and turbine control systems, perform troubleshooting, and ensure plant performance through preventive maintenance.

The role requires 5+ years in related fields, proficiency in DCS programming, and advanced certifications.

Qualifications

5+ years in instrumentation, electrical, and control system applications.
Proficiency in DCS programming and configuration.
High School Diploma or technical/vocational degree (or equivalent).
Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Maintain plant electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot DCS and turbine control systems.
Perform routine and complex troubleshooting for electrical and control systems.
Use CMMS for planning and documentation.
Improve preventive maintenance per OEM recommendations and regulatory requirements.
Maintain logs, manuals, records, blueprints, and operating procedures.
Provide detailed written reports on control system conditions.
Follow safety policies and procedures.
Be the technical resource and provide on-the-job training in complex technical areas.
